Your First Visit:

We understand that the first time you visit a new church it can be a little bit uncomfortable. In order to help you to feel at home we'd like to let you know what to expect when you come to Maple Drive Presbyterian Church.

Attire:

At Maple Drive, you will see people dressed in a wide variety of styles from as casual as jeans or shorts to more formal attire. Most people find themselves somewhere in the middle. You are all welcome at Maple Drive Presbyterian Church, no matter how you dress: what matters is that we worship God from the heart.

Service Length:

Our service is approximately an hour long. We begin the service at 10:55 a.m. and are ordinarily finished by 12 noon.

Childcare:

We do have a nursery available for small children 3 years or younger. Your child will be watched and cared for by a volunteer from our congregation. Please know that your children are welcome in the worship service, as we believe corporate worship is just as much for the children as it is for adults.

Greetings:

Don't worry - we won't make you stand up or introduce yourself to the congregation! But Maple Drive Presbyterian is a warm and welcoming group of believers, so you will likely be greeted before or after the service by our pastor or some of our elders - because we want to get to know you. Please feel free to come early and have a cup of coffee with us in the fellowship hall!

Giving:

It is our practice to collect an offering during the worship service as a part of our worship of the Lord who has given us every good and perfect gift. But if you are visiting, please remember that you are not expected to give anything. We are glad to have you come and worship the Lord with us!

Music:

We sing from a hymnal, accompanied by piano and organ. The songs we sing are faithful to Scripture, they exalt the Savior, and they encourage the saints.

Sermon:

The pastor regularly preaches for 25-30 minutes. Our pastor preaches sermons drawn directly from the Bible, so bring your copy of God's word along, or feel free to use the pew Bibles that are available as well. If you are interested to hear our pastor's preaching please find his recent sermons available here on our website.

Communion:

We observe the Lord's Supper 6 times a year (every other month). At Maple Drive Presbyterian, all believers who are communing members of an evangelical church in good standing are invited to take communion with us.

Bible Studies:

We offer Bible Studies for both men and women. The Men’s Discipleship Group meets every Thursday morning at 9 a.m. at the church. The Women’s Bible Study meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month at 7 p.m. at the church.

Wednesday Night Prayer Group:

Every Wednesday night we have a time of food, fellowship, study and prayer.
